Ingredients

  • 🍊 1 tbsp orange zest (freshly grated)
  • 🍊 2 tbsp fresh orange juice
  • 🧈 ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 🍚 ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
  • 🥚 1 large egg
  • 🌾 1 ½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour
  • 🥄 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 🥄 ¼ tsp salt
  • 🍯 1 tbsp honey
  • 🥄 ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough 🏺

    • In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
    • In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    • Beat in the egg, orange zest, orange juice, honey, and vanilla extract.
  2. Combine & chill ❄️

    • Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.
    • Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Shape the cookies 🐠

    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into fish shapes using a cookie cutter.
