It’s a delightful experience that brings people together, reminiscent of cozy gatherings and shared laughter.
Ingredients
- ๐ซย 4 oz dark chocolate, finely chopped
- ๐งดย 1/2 cup heavy cream
- ๐ฏย 1 tablespoon honey
- ๐ถ๏ธย 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- ๐ย 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ๐งย Pinch of salt
- ๐ย Assorted dippers:
- ๐ Strawberries
- ๐ Banana slices
- ๐ Pineapple chunks
- ๐ Apple slices
- ๐ช Cookies
Instructions
- Melt the Chocolate:
- In a heatproof bowl, combine the chopped dark chocolate and heavy cream.
- Place the bowl over a pot of simmering water (double boiler method) and stir until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Alternatively, you can microwave the mixture in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
- Add Flavorings:
- Stir in the honey, ground cayenne pepper, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
- Serve:
- Transfer the melted chocolate to a fondue pot or a heatproof bowl to keep it warm.
- Arrange your chosen dippers around the chocolate.
- Use fondue forks or skewers to dip your favorite treats into the warm, spicy chocolate.
